DSC Friends is a slate of social groups, funded by the Down Syndrome Community and intended to foster relationships within groups related by age. Through DSC Friends, we will forge opportunities to build strong support networks and lasting friendships, for parents and their children.
The goal is to work our way up to monthly events for every group on predictable days, with an eye toward expanding the program so regional neighborhoods each have their own more localized groups. We need your support and involvement to make it work!
DSC Friends events are not drop-off playdates, so an adult must be present and responsible for children.

This is a space to share friendship, learn about preferred activities for children and families, and be around in the community. We will explore different places, so recommendations from families are always welcome.

The Teens group is for teenagers, so it is not a playgroup or a playdate! We’ll be getting together to “hang out” and have some fun. Maybe we’ll go to a park for a picnic and goofing around, or maybe we’ll go to an event together. Suggestions welcome!
